PCE communication Protocol (PCEP) • PCC-PCE Communication:PCC sends path computation request to PCE;PCE replies path computation result to PCC. • PCE-PCE Communication:PCE relaying path computation requests to next PCE;PCE replying computation results of inter/intra-domain path computation.
PCE communication Protocol (PCEP) Backward Recursive PCE-based Computation (BRPC) procedure: • PCC selects PCE • PCE relays the request to next PCE along the path • Destination PCE computes the VSPT rooted at the Destination router (point to multi-point tree) • Destination PCE returns VSPT along the path • Intermediate PCE computes VSPT rooted at the destination (point to multi-point tree) • PCE replies to PCC
