Objective • To obtain an administrative position where my skills, experience, and strong work ethic will enhance and promote the educational goals of the Pulaski County School System. • To excel student achievement through learning/teaching strategies while keeping focus on improving all student benchmarks in academic and elective credits.

  3. Qualifications • Manage a school community that ensures the safety of all students, faculty, staff, and visitors at all times. • Use data and technology to maintain and improve a smooth educational system. • Implement various components of technology such as: -- Web 2.0 -- Computers (con’t.)

  4. -- software for all forms of data -- online applications such as GoogleDocs, podcasting, wikipedia, blog sites • Monitor and update school improvement according to guidelines set forth by district, state, and federal government. • Lead a faculty with a unified goal to educate students, improve advancement and graduation rates, while decreasing dropout rate.

Assist faculty and staff by providing valuable staff development while enhancing instructional strategies for the classroom. • Involve parents and community to enhance the learning process to prepare all students for the workforce upon graduation. • Treat everyone with respect, dignity, and fairness.

  9. Vision Statement Understanding and using technology in the 21st century is an integral part of each day and each students life. As professionals in the educational field we must strive to meet the demand for a diversified, prepared, and educated workforce and moreover society. Today’s students are tomorrows future leaders. We must lead these individuals to their fullest potential to be successful in the technological classroom and world.

  10. Vision and goals Using technology we envision our goals as: • Students are comfortable with technology and its’ use in the classroom and world. This will aid in our success of SOL testing, No Child Left Behind, accreditation, and AYP (Annual Yearly Progress) • Students can accept responsibility of all technology uses and capabilities and use it in a safe, responsible manner. We must teach up to date information as the newest information ages very quickly. • Educators must be well prepared. Learning how to use technology through training, real world applications, hands on experience and collaboration will allow a educators to play an active role in student success!

Goals (con’t.) • Teachers will be provided opportunity to enhance technology knowledge for use in teaching environment. • Administrators will promote technology by providing equipment, hardware, software, and training and updates to teachers. This will allow the ability to involve parents/guardians, community, and business.

  12. Goals (con’t.) • Teachers, administrators, and school system leaders must strive to use the latest technology to aid in the success of our students today to ensure success of these students in tomorrows economy. This will be an ongoing goal for all to embrace in order to be successful!

Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium – ISLLC Standards • Standard 1 – A school administrator is an educational leader who promotes the success of all students by facilitating the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision of learning that is shared and supported by the school community. • Standard 2 – A school administrator is an educational leader who promotes the success of all students by advocating, nurturing, and sustaining a school culture and instructional program conducive to student learning and staff professional growth. • Standard 3 – a school administrator is and educational leader who promotes the success of all students by ensuring management of the organization, operations, and resources for a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment. • Standard 4 – a school administrator is an educational leader who promotes the success of all students by collaborating with families and community members, responding to diverse community interests and needs, and mobilizing community resources. • Standard 5 – A school administrator is an educational leader who promotes the success of all students by acting with integrity, fairness, and in an ethical manner. • Standard 6 – A school administrator is an educational leader who promotes the success of all students by understanding, responding to, and influencing the larger political, social, economic, legal, and cultural context.
