  3. Definition of Interface Agent An interface agent is responsible for providing interface. The interface a simple static affair. User interact with the interface which will simply pass this on directly to the underlying application. Its provides a convenient means functionality of the system.

  4. The purpose of Interface Agent It requires less work from the end-user and application developer. Agent can more easily adapt to the user over time and become customized to individual & organizational preferences and habits. its interact directly with the users.

Because the decision-theoretic methodology is domain-independent, this new methodology for user intent ascription is readily extensible over new application domains. Furthermore, it also offers the ability to "bootstrap" intent understanding without the need for often lengthy and costly knowledge elicitation. Thus, as a side benefit, the process can mitigate the classic knowledge acquisition bottleneck problem
