Invention: SillyPutty • Silly putty’s original name was “Nutty Putty”, Mostly because it was a ‘‘nutty’’, or crazy substance. • Silly Putty is made up of boric acid and silicone oil. • Silly Putty can copy any printed writing. • Because Silly Putty can copy most all printed information most spies used it to gather important information. • Silly putty was essential million dollar seller mostly because it could do practically any thing like holdingfurnishing steady to holding tools in space. • Right before Easter James chose to put the putty into eggs for a little bit more fun around Easter time.

Inventor: James Wright • James was an G.E. engineer when he mixed the boric acid and the silicone oil. • In 1949 James attended a party which Silly Putty was the main entertainment. • James died in 1976 but Silly Putty is still a recognized name in over 95% of American house holds. • James’s product left him an estate of $140 million.
