HOPE The Anchor of the Soul • Hope Is Expecting To See What We Desire (Romans 8:24; 4:18-21; Hebrews 11; Luke 9:28-31) • We Hope to See Jesus (Titus 2:13; Rev. 22:4; Philippians 1:21-23; 3:21; 1 John 3:2) • Our Forerunner has given us Genuine Hope (Hebrews 6:20, 1 Peter 1:3-4; 1 Cor. 15:16-20) • Hope Motivates Patience & Diligence (Romans 8:25; Lamentations 3:26; 1 Thess. 1:3; Galatians 5:5; Hebrews 6:11; 3:6; 10:23)

HOPE The Anchor of the Soul If you have hope today, hold firmly to it! • We are the house of God “if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.” (Hebrews 3:6) • “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23)

HOPE The Anchor of the Soul If you are not in Christ, you have no hope. • If you are “without Christ”, you are “strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.” (Ephesians 2:12) • You must get into Christ! “For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” (Galatians 3:27)
