KING FAISAL SPECIALIST HOSPITAL & RESEARCH CENTRE NURSING DEVELOPMENT AND SAUDIZATION DEPARTMENT Automated Peritoneal Dialysis Course (APD) 2007 Course Coordinator: Gillian Ingram Instructors: Thrisni Chetty and Saud Mahmoud COURSE DATES MAY 14 AUGUST 8 JUNE 27 OCTOBER 29 JULY 30 NOVEMBER 26 DECEMBER 26 TIME : 08.00 – 18.00 LOCATION : GCL and CCL SKILLS LAB This course is targeted for nurses who are working with Peritoneal Dialysis patients utilizing the automated (machine) renal replacement modality. Both the Fresenius Sleep-safe and Baxter Pro-choice machines will be covered. Clinical check-off is required for course completion and is scheduled separately. COURSE PRE-REQUISITES: Completion of Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis course Register using ND&S online booking registration Enrollment limit: Minimum 04, Maximum 06 participants
