  4. New features of the 2014 regulations Candidates must produce a loaf of bread meeting nutritional requirements in line with the nutritional context of their Own country. Nutritional loaf BREAD From a selection of world's most popular breads, each candidate will find out which s/he will be allocated on the day of the contest. World breads “Free choice” Viennese pastry An exercise in style where IMPROVISATION and CREATIVITY are the name of the game. VIENNESE PASTRY Architectural complexity and interpretation of the theme constitute a significant challenge in themselves. On a world music theme ARTISTIC PIECE The focus is undoubtedly on innovation, demanding an innovative technique and dough making. 4

A total of24candidateswill compete, divided intothreecategories:bread,Viennese pastryandartistic piece.There are 8 candidates in eachcategory.
