  6. The selected site: Patras • Motivation: • A Mw=6.5 earthquakeoccurred on 8 June2008 at17 Km of distance from Patras • Severaldamagedbuildings, some of themstillnotrepaired • Ideal for a realisticsafetyassessment and short termcountermeasures • Selected by the Greekinstitutions
