  2. Exploring the Objective Assessment The Objective Assessment is a tool to assist providers and participants in identifying existing skills and barriers to employment. This assessment is the building block for the Employment Plan. Additional assessments completed with the participant become part of the Objective Assessment to provide a broad picture of the participant’s current circumstances, needs, and desired direction for the future.   3. Accessing the Objective Assessment Click the PLAN tab under the STAFF PROFILES column to access the Objective Assessment. If you need to return to the participant’s CASE SUMMARY, click their name on the left hand side of the screen under CURRENTLY MANAGING, then scroll down to the INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYMENT PLAN link in the CASE MANAGEMENT section to open the section containing the Objective Assessment. Click next to observe this process in MoJobs. Prev Next

  9. Reviewing the Individual Employment Plan The Individual Employment Plan serves as a roadmap for achieving the goal of self-sufficiency and employment. The IEP is developed through a conversation with the participant and utilizes information gathered in the Objective Assessment, other skills assessments, and Labor Market research. The participant’s desired career pathway should be reflected through the goals and objectives outlined in the IEP. Prev Next

  10. Accessing the Individual Employment Plan Scroll down the page from the Objective Assessment to view the participant’s Employment Plan. If you have left the Objective Assessment Screen, click the PLAN tab under STAFF PROFILES to return to the Individual Employment Plan or return to the participant’s CASE SUMMARY by clicking their name under Currently Managing, then scroll down to the INDIVIDUAL EMPLOYMENT PLAN link in the CASE MANAGEMENT section.   13. The Objective Assessment is only required for participants entering training. True Oops, please try again. The Objective Assessment must be completed with all participants and must be completed prior to entering a training or work activity. Check the dates of the Objective Assessment against the start date of a training or work activity during your review. False Prev Next question

  14. The Case Manager should allow participants to complete their own Individual Employment Plan. True Oops, please try again. The Case Manager must work with the participant to develop the IEP objectives and goals based on the participants desires, while addressing any barriers identified through the Objective Assessment. When conducting your review look for case notes or comments in the IEP to ensure a conversation occurred. False Prev Next question
