  1. A42-POV-Marathon 1인칭 나의 과거 Hello, I am Sam thesnake. And I am 41 years old. But when I was 18 years old I was bummed out. I was bummed out because I had never won a marathon. I had run in 51 marathons but I had never triumphed. Before each marathon I prepared by practicing running every day. But I still never won. So I was discouraged. And I wanted to throw in the towel. But I didn’t throw in the towel.

  2. Instead, I went to Boston. I went to Boston because I wanted to run in the Boston Marathon. Now while I was in Boston, Tiger Woods was also in Boston. Tiger Woods had come to Boston to visit his mother. Hismother had lived in Boston for 22 years. Well, I ran in the Boston Marathon. But I had run very slowly. It had taken me 17 hours and11 minutes tofinish the marathon. So I had not triumphed.

  3. I still had never won a marathon. So I was bummed out and I was discouraged. Well, Tiger Woods also ran in the Boston Marathon. But he did not complete the marathon. Yousee, he had run for only 4 minutes. Andthen he had met a girl and they had gone to his hotel room. So after only 4 minutes he had thrown in the towel. She had lived there for 4 years and she had moved fromLos Angeles to New York. Well, on the day of the race I woke up at 11:00 in the morning. But the race started at 8:00 in the morning. So I had missed the race because I had woken up too late. So I was bummed out because I still had never triumphed in a marathon.

  5. Well, I had woken up at 11:00 because my sister Mary hadcalled meon the telephone. And she had told me that she had run in the New York Marathon. And she had completed the marathon in only 87 minutes. And she had triumphed. She had won the marathon. Well, 5 years later I was in Bali, Indonesia. Atage 25 I had moved toBali, Indonesia. And by that time I had run in 117 marathons. But I still had never triumphed.

  6. I had never won a marathon. Well, 2 days after I had moved to Bali, I met Julia Roberts. Julia Roberts had come to Bali to make a movie. SoJulia Roberts and I decided to run in the Bali Marathon. And the Bali Marathon was being held on April 11. And on that day it was hot. And it wasn’t just a little hot. It was very hot. It was 50 degrees Celsius.

  7. Well, Julia Roberts and I ran in the Bali Marathon. And I completed the Bali Marathon. It had taken me 21 hours and 6 minutes to finish the race. So I had run very slowly. But guess what? I had triumphed in the marathon. I had finished first. Yousee, the weather was so hot thateveryother runner in the marathon had thrown in the towel. I was the only one who had finished the race. So I had triumphed !

So I have missed the race because I have woken up too late. So I am bummed out because I still have never triumphed in a marathon.

And she has completed the marathon in only 87 minutes. And she has triumphed. She has won the marathon. Well, 5 years later I am in Bali, Indonesia. At age 25 I have moved to Bali. I have run in 117 marathons. But I still havenever triumphed.

  14. I have never won a marathon. Well, 2 days after I have moved to Bali, Imeet Julia Roberts. Julia Roberts has come to Bali to make a movie. SoJulia Roberts and I decide to run in the Bali Marathon. And the Bali Marathon is being held on April 11. And today it’s hot. And it’s not just a little hot. It’s very hot. It’s50 degrees Celsius.

Now, 2 days after moving to Bali, I’llmeet Julia Roberts. You see Julia Roberts will come to Bali to make a movie. So I and Julia will decide to run in the Bali Marathon. And the Bali Marathon will be run on April 11 and on that day it will be hot. It’s going to be 50 degrees Celsius !

  23. Well, I and Julia Roberts will still run in the Bali Marathon. And I will complete theBali Marathon. But it will take me a long time. It will take me21 hours and6 minutes. Butguess what? I will win the marathon. I will finally triumph in a marathon. Yousee, the weather will be so hot that everyone else willthrow in the towel. I will be the only person to complete the race. So I will be very happy.
