  4. Key Terms: Bandwidth/Data Transfer • Bandwidth: Amount of Data that can be transferred at one time • Data Transfer: Actual amount of Data transferred

  5. Key Terms: Bandwidth/Data Transfer • The less bandwidth you have, the slower it takes your website to load • The less data transfer you have, the more often you will find your website unavailable

  6. Optimum Disk Space “To determine what is sufficient, you need to take into consideration the size of your website and the number of visitors you have in a month's time”

  7. FTP Access • FTP means ‘File Transfer Protocol’ • FTP is used to transfer web pages from your personal computer to web server. • Also used to download files from server to a computer
