Coastal processes and coastal management (CPCM) 30 credit, year three option • The aims of the course are to: • - provide an advanced knowledge and understanding of coastal processes and landform evolution, • - develop a critical awareness and understanding of coastal hazards and methods of coastal protection, • - develop an appreciation of current issues, conflicts and debates regarding coastal management.

CPCM assessment modes: • 2 x field based exercises (2000, 1000; 25%) • 1 x extended essay (4000 words; 50%)
