WELCOME TO BAND CLASS!

1. WELCOME TO BAND CLASS! In this Textual Story Adventure, you are a new student in the school band, you are excited as it this is the first time you get to learn a musical instrument. Your goal is to achieve the best possible Study grades as you can while keeping up with music practice. BEGIN!!!

2. Saxophone You are starting your first ever band lesson, you have the option of picking your first instrument. Click on the shapes or pictures to make your decision and move further. Flute Violin Trumpet

3. You choose the saxophone You pick up the your study book and play a few notes but you find out that you need a lot of practice to get better. You have an upcoming maths test that requires a lot of study as well. What will you do? Study for math test Practice your Saxophone

4. You practice your saxophone Since you thought it was more important to practice your saxophone you didn’t do as well as you thought you would on your maths test. You want to try and get your maths grades back up but you still need to practice your saxophone. What will you do? Quit the Band Ask teacher about practice times Practice your Saxophone

5. You studied for your maths test Although you got an A on your maths test from your rigorous study. Your band teacher is furious at you for neglecting your saxophone practice and you get kicked out of the band. YOU LOSE! TRY AGAIN!

6. Ask the teacher After thinking for a long time, you decide to tell your teacher about why you didn’t do well on your maths test,. He is pleasantly ok with your proposition and offers you some time to study instead of practice. The end result is that your school grades and band performance go up.

7. Your practice your saxophone again. Your hard work on practicing your saxophone has paid off as you are now the best saxophonist in the band. However, your grades in academic subjects have plummeted leaving you with failed tests and assignment. TRY AGAIN!

8. You quit the band You quit the band because you think your schoolwork is more important, your grades go up but you have a very unhappy band teacher and very upset parents. YOU LOSE! TRY AGAIN!

9. You choose the violin You place the violin on your neck and pluck a string and it makes a terrible sound. A friend sitting next to you tells you to try tuning the strings. What will you do? Tune the strings Pluck some more random strings

10. You play some random strings You pluck the strings so hard that you accidentally snap one of them, you try to fix the string by threading it back through the neck but you end up snapping the neck. Your teacher sees what you have done and goes berserk. You are kicked out of the band with a hefty repair bill. TRY AGAIN!!!

11. You tune the violin strings It took you a whole 20 minutes to tune your violin properly. You think to yourself “is this a worthwhile instrument, because it certainly is boring if I have to tune it every time I play it!” What will you do? Suck it up princess. Choose another instrument.

12. Suck it up princess! You decide to endure the pain of tuning your violin before you play it and it has turned out great. Turns out that you are a natural prodigy at playing the violin and you have won first place in every contest you enter.

13. You choose the trumpet As you take the trumpet out of its case you think of the time that you saw an amazing trumpeter on television. You think to yourself “If I blow this trumpet as loud as him I would be so great!” What will you do? BLAST IT!!! Refrain and study your trumpet

14. You blast it!!! You take a deep breathe and blow the trumpet so loud in your teacher’s ear by accident that you have made him go deaf. Now he has lost his job as a teacher because he can’t hear and no one replaces him.

15. You study your trumpet After fiddling with a few buttons and levers. You discover two odd-looking levers on both sides of your trumpet. Which one will you pull? Left Lever Right Lever

16. You pulled the left lever After pulling the left lever nothing seems to happen. Confused, you decide to ignore it and start playing and you notice that the trumpet sounds much better than before. Your teacher tells you that it is a tuning slide and has rewarded you for your enthusiasm by promoting you to first trumpet player.

17. You pulled the right lever After pulling on the right lever the whole trumpet collapses into tiny pieces on the floor in front of you. Your teacher looks really angry and kicks you out of the band with a large repair bill.

18. You choose the flute The flute is a very high-pitched instrument, the more air you blow through the higher the sound will be. The flute is also very thin and compared to other instruments. What will you do? Blow a high-pitched note. Muck around

19. You mucked around You decide to muck around with your flute, you start twirling it around as if it was a baton. The flute slips between your fingers and goes flying across the room and smashes through a window. Your teacher gets furious and kicks you out of the band.

20. You play a high-pitched note You play a really high note in someone’s ear in their surprise they slap you in the face. What do you do? Slap back Dob on them Do the Hokey-Pokey

21. You dob on them You whine to your teacher about how you were slapped. You explain the situation and he has let both of you of with a warning. What will you do? Hold a grudge Apologize to each other

22. You apologized Your apology was sincerely accepted and you were able to clear your name as a snitch. Your teacher then says that they are going to play on a school assembly and asked you to do a solo. What will you do? Stand up and go wild Stay seated and play quietly

23. You go wild You stand up in the middle of your song and start trying to play a mean solo, however, you mess up and go quiet, you start sweating and become very nervous. What will you do? Sit back down Stay standing

24. Stay Standing You decide to stay standing up while playing. You do not make anymore mistakes but when the song ended your teacher is not happy and tells you to learn a new instrument. TRY AGAIN!!!!

25. You sit back down You sit back down as you know that you’ve messed up badly, the audience starts to whisper to each other. In the next band lesson your teacher is very upset at you for trying to do a solo but making a public spectacle of the band and you are kicked out.

26. You play quietly Your decision to play quietly surprisingly went well. You managed to gain some confidence after a few notes and played every note correctly. At the end you receive a standing ovation and you are given a prize.

27. You held a grudge Your grudge made you dob on everyone for the most smallest of things, you drove everyone mad even the teacher and got yourself kicked out of the band.

28. You slapped back You decided to slap your peer back, the teacher busts you and you’ve earned yourselves one week of detention.

29. You did the hokey-pokey After you put your right foot in the whole classroom goes quiet and watches you do the hokey-pokey, they start laughing uncontrollably and the student who slapped you has completely forgiven you and apologizes. You have gained some new friends and are pretty popular.
