It means that you make things on your own. It originated in west countries about 50 years ago. Originally, people did this in order to cut expenses. But now it has become a trend. Quite many books, magazines and websites are now available to teach you to DIY many things, such as making toys, knitting sweaters, decorating houses, assembling computers, etc.
2. Would you like to buy or DIY the things you need? Explain your reasons. Getting Ready2.1 a) I’d like to DIY the things I need if possible. My reasons are as follows. Firstly, it can be cheaper.Secondly, it can be customized to my needs. I can use the materials I choose and make it the way I like. Thirdly, it can stimulate my creativity.
