Success over the years • Collected over 1000 books for Better World Books • Donated over 200 books to East Baton Rouge Parish School Board for EveryBody Reads • Donated over 100 books to children at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital for Christmas • Donated dozens of canned goods for Canapalooza • Gave out over $500 in chapter scholarships • Heard from various speakers talk about service, leadership and career-building opportunities

Adult Literacy Advocates • Tutor adult students who are working to improve reading, writing, English, and test-taking skills • Teach English as a Second Language (ESL) to non-native English speakers twice per week • Volunteers will attend training and then set schedule with the student • ongoing
EveryBody Reads • Read to a student twice a month throughout the school year at East Baton Rouge Parish School • 2 times per month throughout the school year
EveryBody Counts • Provide individualized math assistance to 2nd and 3rd graders throughout the school year at East Baton Rouge Parish School • 1 time per week throughout the school year
Big Buddy Teen Program • Tutor middle and high school students • $150 for a 2-day/wk commitment and $300 for a 4 day/wk commitment, 1 hr/day for the 3 months of service. • Oct.-Dec., Jan.-Mar., 1 hr/day, 2 or 4X/week
