This study derives a conceptual model from the health-related quality of life framework and traumatic brain injury literature to address the specific needs and concerns of male combat Veterans with mild TBI. The analysis highlights the direct relationship between instrumental activities of daily living and the Department of Veterans Affairs. The preliminary findings provide essential insights for improving support services and interventions for this population.
