DAY 1 – PERIOD #1 • ESSENTIAL QUESTION: What is my schedule and where are my classes? • GRAPHIC ORGANIZER: KWL Chart • 1ST PERIOD AGENDA: • Spend a few minutes working on KWL Chart with your shoulder partner. • Expected behavior during the PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE & MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS. • Begin filling out the STUDENT INFORMATION SHEET. • Check SCHEDULE and make sure it’s complete and correct. • CLASSROOM PROCEDURES & EXPECTATIONS: Signing out and signing in, TARDY LOG. You will have 2 minutes to think of as many words as possible that BEGIN with that letter that describes you. Expect that the final dismissal bell will be late. Be patient and follow directions. • We’re going to work with the STUDENT HANDBOOK and divide and conquer the different sections.
