General Robert leehe was born January 19 1807-1870 he was a confederate general before he became a general he fought in the Mexican war he went to Westpoint. right before the civil war Lincoln asked him to lead the union army,but he denied.He won many battles during the war his daugther died from Scalet fever. He eventually lost

  3. General Grant born July 23 1822-1885 he was a Union general who defeated many threats including Robert .E. Lee he was sucsessful in the war later on he became president and is on the 50 dollar bill. he also sent Sherman for his famous march.
