Impact of more DM load • From NTS perspective, greater DM participation has potential to reduce Safety Monitor volumes • Associated benefit dependent on actual load reduction by isolation • DM loads “protected by isolation” have certain obligations during an emergency • Obligations set out in UNC TPD Section Q and the Emergency Procedures
