  2. 1. Set S.M.A.R.T Goals Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-Specific (SMART) goals are the foundation of any successful business venture, and online marketing is no exception. A SMART goal might be something like “achieving 300 Facebook page followers within the next 6 months”.

  3. 2. Know Your Audience By knowing who your audience is, you will be able to target them more specifically. By doing so, you will save both time and money, achieve a higher conversion rate, and at the end of the day, a greater return on investment (ROI). Segment your audience into factors such as gender, occupation, age, income, family size etc. then market towards their specific needs and wants. It’s not rocket science, but it is effective.
