This week we remember actor and trans rights activist, Alexis Arquette, who died on Sunday in the arms of his/her family. Per Alexis’ request, they cheered upon his/her passing. Alexis inhabited many roles, both on and off the camera. Onstage, she stole the show in The Wedding Singer and Pulp Fiction, wowing us all with his/her gender-bending charisma. Off stage, you may know her/him as a transgender rights activist who denied playing any role that stereotyped the LGBTQ community. Instead, she was an icon who encouraged the radical acceptance of identity and gender exploration. “Yeah, sometimes I'll be a man, sometimes I'll be a woman. I like to refer to myself as gender suspicious.” Alexis died with Bowie’s ‘Starman’ playing in the background. We’re pretty sure the two of them are throwing a party in the stars right now. RIP
