Cars Land, 12 acres of Disney themepark, based on the Disney Pixar movie "Cars," opens Friday June 15, with three new rides and a re-creation of the fictional town of Radiator Springs on Route 66. Anaheim, California.

There's a new attraction at Disney California Adventure, and it's sure to get your engine revving.Lightning McQueen, his buddy, Tow Mater, and the entire Radiator Springs gang have taken up residence in Cars Land and they're ready to welcome you with open doors and take you for a ride.DCA's newest addition officially opens Friday, but three Disney Imagineers -- they're the folks who design and build Disney theme parks all over the world -- gave us a look at the three Cars Land rides. There's the Radiator Springs Racers, Mater's Junkyard Jamoboree and Luigi's Flying Tires.The expansion cost more than $1 billion. Cars Land is located behind the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
