Summary • Airborne DWL is beyond the technology demo and potpourri science stage • Unique and “critical mass” observations are now available for use in PBL investigations and model validation/development • Airborne DWL investigations for 2010 will focus upon tropical cyclones…. Noteworthy: active optical remote sensing inside a phenomena defined in large part by clouds.
