Setting Settings: Setting 1: The touch-me-not cottage is located out side of the wood. Winnie Foster lives there. Setting 2: The wood is outside of the touch-me-not cottage. The spring is located inside of the wood. Setting 3: The Tuck’s house is north of the wood. There is a lake outside of it.
The Tucks • Angus – He doesn’t like living forever. • Mae – She is chubby and she accepts the spring. • Miles – He was Married with kids but the left him. • Jesse – He is 17 years old and handsome and loves living forever. • Winnie – She is a 10 year old girl who is lonely and wants to run away. • Grandma - Bossy • Dad - Strict • Mom – Won’t let Winnie go anywhere. Characters • Man in the yellow suit – Follows the Tucks • Constable – The sheriff of Treegap.
Character Study: Winnie Foster is a lonely girl who cannot leave her yard without her family with her. She is 10 years old. Jesse Tuck is very sad because he doesn’t like living forever and because he lost his family because the noticed that he wasn’t changing at all.
Problem Winnie Foster is a ten year old girl and she wants to drink from the spring but she can’t. Later on she meets the Tucks but they tell her the good and bad to it. Will Winnie drink from it or will she not? Will the Tucks be able to save their secret?
Plot • Winnie runs away and goes into the wood. • She meets Jesse at the tree and the spring. • Winnie wants to drink from the spring. • Winnie meets Miles and Mae and tells the secret. • Tucks kidnap her. • Man in the yellow suit follows them and takes the horse. • Miles and Winnie go fishing. • Man in the yellow suit comes to the house. • Mae whacks the man in the yellow suit with a shot gun in the back of the head. • Mae goes to jail and Winnie takes her place.
Resolution Winnie had a choice to drink the spring water but she didn’t drink the spring water, so she pours the water on the toad. The Tucks solved their problem by escaping from the jail on the night when Mae was in jail.
