  2. ORGANS • Organs such as the heart, the veins witch carries dead blood cells, and then there’s the arteries witch carries living and healthy blood cells. Lungs are also a blood organ, see you blood needs oxygen for the blood cells the live and for us to live.

  3. DESCRIPTION • The major function of the circulatory system is to transport nutrients and gases to different parts of the body where they can be used by cells. • Another function is to take waste materials from the cells to the kidneys, lungs, skin , where the waste can be removed.

  4. Talk about open heart surgery ILLNESSES • Heart attack means a situation in witch the blood supply to the heart is reduced or stopped, witch injures the heart muscle. • Sickle cell anemia a genetic condition in witch the red blood cells are sickle shaped and contained an abnormal type of hemoglobin. • Hemophilia a genetic disease in witch the blood does not clot or clots very slowly.
