Housing Statistics In 2015/16, BC Housing partnered with non-profits to: Assist more than 104,025 households in 200 communities Create new housing options for over 1,700 households License 5,600 residential builders Enroll 24,000 new homes in home warranty insurance Forecasted provincial contributions for 2016/17 – $544.5M
New Funding Programs Non-Profit Asset Transfer (NPAT) – transfer up to 350 leased properties to non-profit housing partners Provincial Investment in Affordable Housing (PIAH) – $355 million to create 2,000+ units over 5 years Investment in Housing Innovation (IHI) – $516 million to create 2,900 units: the largest single year investment in Canada Community Partnership Initiatives (CPI) – construction financing for self sustaining projects
