The European Patent Academy's initiative focused on promoting and supporting patent-related IP training through conferences, expert speakers, e-learning, and partnerships. The IP4INNO project, funded by the European Commission, aimed to train business advisors and TTOs in IP topics. With the collaboration of nineteen consortium partners from various institutions, the project delivered over 150 materials and conducted 60 training events, benefiting over 800 trainees. The success of modules 2A, 2B, 4A, 4B, and 5A signaled high demand, with plans to extend the project beyond 2011. For more information, contact Jeremy Philpott at the European Patent Office.
