Formation of oriented thin layers on solid surfaces by zone casting Crystallization of inorganic crystals controlled by copolymers – for design of particles: size and shape, controlled by blocking of crystal growth faces Structure formation in polymer blend films: - surface and interfacial phenomena (interactions, instabilities) in structure formation (during spin-casting, thermal annealing) -pattern-directed (soft lithographic) structure alignment inside films(nano-, meso-) on model polymers
