What is a geyser? Family Fun Animals A geyser needs a water source from miles under the Earth's surface. It also needs a heat source, supplied by the Earth's magma. This is about 3 miles under the surface of the Earth. The magma heats the water, but hot water isn't enough it also needs pressure. Old Faithful Fisting Old Faithful is one of the coolest events to see. It is a geyser that goes of pretty frequently and is one of the biggest. Yellowstone is a wonderful area for animals to live . When driving threw this park you will be able to see these wonderful animals any time of year elk, bison, mule deer, bighorn sheep, grizzly bears, black bears, wolves, moose, pronghorn, coyotes, mountain lions, beaver, trumpeter swans, eagles, ospreys, white pelicans, and more. Bear Country U.S.A. On this adventure you are able to drive threw many areas were Wolves, Bears, Sheep, Elk and more live. You are able to drive in the different animal areas with your vehicles and the animals may even come up to your window.
