Other relevant information The IMD World Competitiveness Index  The IMD (Institute for management development) in Switzerland provides an annual report on the competitive position of nations around the world. This ‘competitiveness’ index ranks 49 countries using 286 different criteria covering current economic performance, government efficiency, business efficiency and infrastructure.
