These have been defined based on considerations of the number of SEG affiliated Sections and cost efficiency. • Regions: Central & South America, Europe, Middle East & Africa, North America, Pacific South and South and East Asia • http://seg.org/hl FREE for Student Chapters! The HL program encourages students by providing the opportunity to discuss scientific and career issues with a leading expert.

SEGFoundation Annual Meeting Travel Grants • Designed for graduate students who are presenting papers at the SEG Annual Meeting. • Other possible applicants: • Applicants who are pursuing a graduate degree in geosciences • Applicants who are members of an SEG Student Chapter • Applicants who have been an officer of an SEG Student Chapter • SEG Challenge Bowl winners who have been unable to find local support.

SEG/ExxonMobil Student Education Program The SEG/ExxonMobil Student Education Program (SEP) prepares students for the breadth and challenges of an oil industry career • 2.5 day course on the subject of multi-disciplinary subsurface integration for E&P • Graduate students and undergraduates who are approaching graduation are eligible to apply • ExxonMobil provides course materials, instructors and team exercises.

SEG/ExxonMobil Student Education Program Travel Grant Opportunities North America: Held in conjunction with SEG Annual Meeting • Travel grants awarded to North American students only • Additional courses spots available to students who can pay their own way to attend the course regardless of their location International: Held in conjunction with SEG affiliated meetings • Accepted applicants will be assigned to participate in the SEP occurring in their geographical region • For more info: SEP@seg.org
