AUDI • Audience • Audi + ence (act of) • Literal definition – act of hearing • Dictionary definition – (n) the assembled spectators or listeners at a public event, such as a play, movie, concert, or meeting • The audience enjoyed the performance and gave the singer a standing ovation.
AUDI - HEAR • Audio • Dictionary definition – (n) sound, especially when recorded, transmitted, or reproduced • The poor audio in the video made it difficult to understand what was being said.
