  2. Enable Adblock on Different browsers • Sometimes you need to turn on Adblock so that you can easily remove various types of advertising in the web browsers. Adblock’s target is to remove pop-ups, banner advertisements and other forms of online ads which help a user search the web without any irritating disturbances. • The web users have different options for blocking various types of advertisement. Most of the users will select to block Adobe Flash instead of blocking annoying video advertisement; it is now common on most of the websites.

Enable Adblock through Google Chrome • In Google Chrome we can easily enable Adblock to get rid of the advertisements that are disturbing or distract us, but permit advertisement from some sites that follow particular instructions. The steps are given below to turn on Adblock: • Start Chrome. • In Windows, it is in the all applications area of the Start menu list, and on mac0S it is in the Application folder. • Press the square shape menu. • It is at the top of the Chrome browser. • Choose More Tools. • Alternative options will come. • Hit Extensions. • The list of downloaded browser extensions will come, Adblock included. • Navigate to the “Adblock” toggle to the Enable position. • This will re-activate the Adblock extension.

Enable Adblock through Mozilla Firefox • In Mozilla Firefox have multiple features, and it protects your privacy, through Adblock you can block unwanted advertisement which becoming a source of your distraction. The steps are given below to turn on Adblock: • Start Firefox. • In windows it is in the all applications area of the Start menu list, and on mac0S it is in the Application folder. • Press the three lines tab. • It is at the top of the browser. The menu will enlarge. • Press Add-ons. • Hit Extensions. • It is on the left column of the menu list. The list of downloaded browser extensions will come. • Press Enable on the next to Adblock. • This will re-activate the Adblock extension.

  5. Reactivating Adblock for a Particular Website  • Start your web browser. If you disable Adblocker for a specific website, to start blocking ads again which comes in your browser you can access Adblocker icon. • Scroll to the site on which you turn off Adblock.  • Press the Adblock icon. • You will find this icon on the top of the browser, commonly to the right of the URL bar. It turns into a grey colour, and it means the Adblock is turned off. • Press Disabled on the site. • This will re-activate for the website.
