  12. Task 7.3 Quantification savings (farm level) Flexible and precIse irriGation plAtform to improve faRm scale water prOductivity Base information on impact categories in LCA Structured analysis of data that will be collected through Standard Form using LCA, WFA Savings: in energy, irrigation water, blue/green WF (in form: Figaro vs Traditional, with sprinkler vs drip and full irrigation vs deficit as characteristics) Energy savings through smart network operation (UPVLC)

  13. Task 7.4 Techno-economic assessment Flexible and precIse irriGation plAtform to improve faRm scale water prOductivity Technology diffusion potential (UniBo D2.1 chapter 9) depends on influencing factors identified. Results from SWOT on farm-scale adoption of technology and scenarios (7.5) will be integrated Technology diffusion and farm scale effects are combined

  14. Task 7.5 EIA Flexible and precIse irriGation plAtform to improve faRm scale water prOductivity Farm scale: • LCA: 7.4 + other impact categories + aggregation • WFA: extend analyses to irrigation + nutrients • Autumn 2015, to feed discussions Bologna January 2016 Scenario scale targetting EU policy: • Scenarios developing based on UniBo SWOT & insights in diffusion of innovation & potential changes in underlying influencing factors (from Bologna 2016) • Directly following Bologna January 2016

  15. Task 7.6 Guidelines / lessons Flexible and precIse irriGation plAtform to improve faRm scale water prOductivity Collect opinions on statements, basedon limited SWOT / literature, concerning • potentialsfor PI (using Figaro platform) • actions of stakeholders on influencing factors Bologna, January 2016 7.5: useresultstodefine / complete scenarios Discuss in meeting no later than September 2016 Report in final lessons / guidelines

  16. Next steps Flexible and precIse irriGation plAtform to improve faRm scale water prOductivity Critical success factors • Coordination between CBA – LCA – WFA partners • Delivery of data in Standard Forms • Stakeholder participation in Bologna January 2016 • Relevant policy-makers in a meeting no later than September 2016
