Haskins forced the players to be within close quarters of one another in hopes that it will bring them closer as a united team.
Coach Haskins teaching his players how to play on the court with each players' individual skills, working as a cohesive unit. While fighting the outside criticism of an integrated team.
Haskins needed to bring confidence to the team and a belief that they could be invincible if they wanted to be. In-stowed that power and strength within his players to be successful.
The respect that evolved for the Minor team was inevitable amongst the population. They created a strong bond with one another that could not be broken and it all started with a passionate belief of Coach Don Haskins.
