Clark • Nursing Concepts I • Electronic Portfolio Journal w/ brief bulleted description • Students given directions to create and access epsilen • A template was created for guidance (questions) • Students created journals in epsilen for 8 weeks of clinical • Themes included professional growth, clinical outcome evaluation, and personal growth

The Projects • Marilyn Kuzsma • CMDP 251: Practicum in Chemical Dependency Counseling • Developing an E-portfolio of Assignments from the Course • In this course, students produce 5 assignment that demonstrate their achievement of the CMDP Program Outcomes. • Using the Epsilen platform, students will develop an E-portfolio consisting of these assignments. • Epsilen was chosen because it is both portable and password protected. • Students can use the E-portfolio to provide a sample of their work to prospective employers and for admission to 4 year colleges. • In the future, the E-portfolio will be instrumental in providing both internal and external evaluations of the students’ work.
Robert Miller Margy McCampbellCreating an E-portfolio APSFaculty Resultsstrong supportmuch clearer representation of their workmuch easier if they were allowed to use the platforms a second timeplatforms should be standardized100% would use e-portfolios again if allowed.
Administration Results • less agreement (but sample size of only 2) • make sure there is opening / signature page • more of faculty activities are reflected • no system for electronic storage, so the e-portfolios had to be printed.
Final Thoughts • Upon project completion, all Connections members will: • Compose a final report that includes outcomes and reflection • Present project outcomes at a CCBC professional development event • Fall Focus • Teaching Learning Fair • Professional Development Day
