Major- Business Communication • In the “Business Communication” certificate program students concentrate on written and oral communication, and individual and team projects. The curriculum was created to prepare students for communication specialist roles in entertainment, health care, public relations, advertising, publishing, technology, and many other professional areas.

Requirements • Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who have earned at least 45 credits, 30 of which must have been earned at Hunter College. Graduate students and individuals with advanced degrees are not eligible to apply.
Course Title –Business writing • Business WritingThis class is designed to help intermediate and advanced speakers of English refine grammar and learn specialized terminology for use in business. The course will address specific vocabulary, written and oral language and improve workplace interactions in order to enhance professional communication.

My Interest • My interest is to major in business. The demand for business majors will always be high because there are an endless number of career opportunities available to individuals with a good business education. Employers in every industry need people who have been trained to organize, plan, and manage within an organization. In fact, there are many companies in the business industry who rely on business school recruiting alone to acquire new employees.
