Experience in research • PhD Thesis • European continent: publish PhD Thesis as a book (good publishers that publish for free) • refereed papers in good journals (ESF rating international I or II) • achieve good balance between central, broad topics and new topics, avoid too much specialisation
Experience in mobility • participation in conferences: big conferences as well as workshops on area of specialisation • experience at foreign universities: stages during or after PhD Thesis
Experience in teaching • teaching assistant • tutorials • supervision of projects
Flexibility • apply to all positions in your domain • include statement about your future research projects in application • do not limit your applications to one particular country • be not disappointed if you are not immediately shortlisted
