Snowman Exchange As a class, read the book Snowballs by Lois Ehlert. Discuss how the snowman was created in the story.
Snowman Exchange Either in small groups, or as a class, create your own snowman. Please use materials that would be readily available to a classroom teacher. If you do it in small groups you will need to vote on one snowman to represent your class.
Snowman Exchange Write a detailed description of your snowman. Your description should be so good that someone else could make a snowman that looks exactly like yours just by reading it! Once again, if you do this in small groups you will need to choose one to represent your class.
Snowman Exchange When you have your description ready, your teacher will email it to your partner class as a Word document or PowerPoint. They will try to create a snowman that looks exactly like yours!
Snowman Exchange You will receive a description from your partner class of their snowman. You will try to re-create their snowman as well.
Snowman Exchange When both sides have re-created their partner’s snowman you will video conference with that class and see if the snowmen both sides made using the descriptions look like the original!
Snowman Exchange Good luck!
