Why is Title/adsis so vital to our students? • The goal of Title I is to provide a high-quality education for every child. • The Title I program provides additional help to students who need support in the areas of reading and math. • ADSIS and Title provide a small group environment for students to feel successful. • We look at data to analyze reading and math achievement, and then select students with the most needs who are not special education to serve.

  3. Why is Title/adsis so vital to our students? • Students are monitored weekly and are involved in graphing their progress and setting goals. • We work hard to get more books in the hands of our students for their homes!

  4. Title I nights encourage family involvement • Sending home books for students and families to read together. • Sending home math games to play together.

  5. Title I Math night • Climbing to Success in Math on Nov. 8th had a total of 353 people in attendance! • Title 1 and ADSIS teachers shared grade level math strategies and games for families to use at home.

  6. Getting the community involved • Lunch with the Mayor • Lunch with the Principal

  7. Upcoming Events • February 5th – Title 1 Reading Night at the Public Library • May 2nd- Summer Learning Activities at the Edgewater Pavilion
