Italian Chapter • Società Internet is the name of the not for profit association isoc.it • Our main mission may be summarized like that: • Following isoc.org activities and evolutions • Spreading “Internet culture” in the Italian Internet community(LIC) • Facilitating opinions on issues of interest of the LIC • Promoting the participation in the standard process formation (IETF) • Promoting the international co-operation among ISOC chapters • Information and participation on other international fora (ICANN, WSIS, etc.)
