SBS Magnet and Infrastructure • Magnet Steel – machining in progress – vendor delivery on schedule for April- milestone April 2014 • Racetrack Coils – 1st coil to be delivered in May- milestone April 2014 • New Saddle Coil – revised drawings in review – rebidding procurement in early March- milestone April 2014 • Magnet Assembly Hardware – Hardware defined – procurement on hold until confirmed that BNL will not ship existing hardware- milestone September 2014 • Magnet Support Structure – Redesigned to get cost under $100k - analysis and drawings progressing – start procurement by end of March- milestone July 2014 • Power Supply – parts ordered by vendor – delivery in late June – installation in Summer 2014- milestone September 2014 • Beam line – continuing analysis to define shielding , solenoids and correctors – preliminary concept evaluated for cost – milestones Jan & Apr 2015 • Field Clamps – upstream and downstream clamp material defined – details of design to be analyzed before procuring- milestones April 2015 • Magnet commissioning in Testlab– milestone September 2014
