  3. Amber Fortis located in Amber (a town with an area of 4 square kilometers), 11 kilometers from Jaipur, Rajasthan state, India. It is one of the principal tourist attractions in the Jaipur area, located high on a hill.The ancient citadel, the capital of the ruling Kachhawa clan of Amber from 1037 to 1727 AD, was shifted to present day Jaipur in 1727. Amber Fort is known for its artistic style, blending both Hindu and Mughal elements. The fort with its large ramparts, series of gates and cobbled paths, overlooks the Maota Lake, at its forefront. information
