Guidelines for Presenting Aids • Display where listeners can see them • Avoid passing visual aids around the room • Display visual aids only while discussing them • Explain them clearly and concisely • Talk to your audience, not the visual aid • Practice speech using visual aid • Remember, this is a formal presentation: do not try to mimic lecture slides
