Retirees dedicated to the passage of National Health Care (HR-676)
NON-PROFIT HEALTH CARE • We are for the • conversion of all health care providers to a not-for-profit service where illness is no longer a source of wealth for a few.
Did you know? • Half of all personal bankruptcies and one third of all credit card debt is caused by illness or medical bills. • Over 30% of every healthcare dollar is spent on administrative overhead in private insurance compared to just 3.2% in Medicare administrative costs.
Retirees for Single Payer Health Care Our mission is to educate, demonstrate, and learn. OUR MISSION
THE MARCH for HR-676
Congressman John Conyers, Jr. has vowed to keep introducing HR- 676 “The United States National Health Care Act” or “Expanded & Improved Medicare for All” as long as he is a member of Congress. The 535 members of the Senate and House are the only people in this country who can make it the law. LOBBYING
