The Population The 3.966 million people that inhabit the island of Puerto Rico make it one of the most densely populated islands in the world. There are about 1,000 people per square mile, a ratio higher than within any of the 50 states in the United States. It is estimated that some 2 million Puerto Ricans have migrated to the United States. Had these people remained in Puerto Rico, the island would be so densely populated that there would be virtually no room for people to live.

But the is a boxing celebrity called Daniel Santos who lives in the city of San Juan which is the capital. He was a boxer in the Olympics for Puerto Rico in 1996 Atlanta and got a bronze medal. Daniel has played 38 fights and amazingly won 32 of them and out of that 32 23 was KO’s. He has lost four fights ,one draw and one classed as no contest. He was born on the 10th of October 1975 so at the moment he is 36 years of age. On July 11, 2008, Santos won his third professional championship, knocking out Joachim Alcine in six rounds to win the World Boxing Association’s light middleweight title.
