  2. Computer basics: Using a mouse Your mouse lets you control what you do on your computer.   A wire might connect the mouse to the computer, or you might be using a wireless mouse. Beginner

  3. Computer basics: Using a mouse There are lots of designs of computer mouse.  Most will have a left and right button. Many also have a scroll wheel between the buttons. Beginner

  4. Computer basics: Using a mouse Hold the mouse gently in the hand you use for writing. Don't grip the mouse too hard. Beginner

  5. Computer basics: Using a mouse The mouse moves a cursor on your computer screen. The cursor lets you choose and move items on your screen. The cursor changes, depending on what you are doing:  Arrow: moving and choosing Hand: clicking on internet links Circle/hourglass: waiting for the computer when it is ‘busy’ I marker: showing your position in a document Beginner
