This study explores the impact of YieldGard traits on optical sensing, nitrogen uptake, and NUE in corn crops. Results from corn following corn and corn following soybean scenarios are analyzed to understand the effects of hybrid traits on various growth parameters.

Situation • Hybrid traits like YieldGard Corn Borer™, YieldGard Rootworm™ and YieldGard Plus™) provide protection against yield robbing pests in corn, but little is known about the effects these traits have on optical sensing, N uptake, and NUE in corn. Ken Ostlie
