Secure does not need to be applied as often as conventional adhesives since it is non water- soluble in water and will not wash out while eating and drinking. 2. Can a denture wearer who wears a soft lined denture use Secure Denture Adhesive? An optimal bonding effect can only be achieved if Secure Denture Adhesive is used with a hard and smooth base.  Dentures with soft linings will reduce the bonding effect of Secure Denture Adhesive. 3. Can the denture be removed before the saturation point is reached? Normally, there is no need to remove the denture since no food particles get trapped underneath.  However, in specific cases - like accidents- the denture can be removed by little force. 4. Will Secure Denture Adhesive work if the user has a problem with excessive saliva? Yes, but an increased amount of Secure Denture Adhesive should be used in this case.  If the lower denture does not stay in place for one day, Secure Denture Adhesive Cushions should be used instead. The Secure Adhesive cushions were developed for denture wearers with excessive saliva and/or very narrow/flat lower jaw. 5. How long does Secure Denture Adhesive stay fresh after purchase?
