But you must know that there is no ‘miracle food or foods’ that can get your rid of the pain from these musculoskeletal conditions. A ‘healthy diet’ will certainly make up for a healthy body which in return helps you recover, and this holds true for all the medical conditions. Every medical condition has these foods that can help, and also the foods which may slow down the recovery process. So the healthy diet here might vary for each medical ailment. By tailoring your diet according to your ailment, you can accelerate your recovery process. Being an inflammatory condition, Arthritis is no different. And cutting out sugar is the best way to give you a head start. In addition to bulking you up with the calories; Sugar, according to the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition releases Cytokines which can flare up your inflammation. So, please stay away from sugar. Fried food: The fried foods are abundant with the saturated fatty acids which trigger inflammation making your pain worse. Baked food is the best bet for arthritis. Excess Salt: Normal amounts of salt (sodium) is essential for the general functioning of the body. But if you are into foods that harbour excess salt (salt fish), it is better if you can give them up.
